Concept Development
Concept development is our first stage in the design process. During this stage, Sharpe's Design will consider many factors in the development of a concept including, ergonomics (comfort design) accessibility, and sustainability. First however, we need to establish the owner’s preferred style. This is achieved by discussing various interior details and design influences to quickly clarify an aesthetic direction. It is critical at this stage for us to interpret the client’s requirements as accurately as possible.
Over the course of a project, we will develop a concept that can be used to make choices about everything from construction materials to the emotional experience of the client. This implies an idea, or range of ideas, a development approach, a guiding concept and a design intent.
